which do you think makes a bigger difference:

where you're going?
or where you've been?

What a hard question. Taking one day at a time. I guess. Really in truly I think it comes down to the beauty you find in others. Perhaps you'll find it in yourself.

Yesterday, while looking for a book to make sure the new one wasn't copy of the other..a little boy came up to me and said. "Do you have one of those diseases where you can't grow up?" He was noting that I'm very short. And I just smiled and said. "I guess I am..."

Went to see Benjamin Button last night ....it was a nice treat. A lot to think about.

Waiting for warmer weather, but snow is on the way.

where you are...I know this because I read Echart's new book.
I know that that was a trick question- life is full of that sort of thing.

Ooohhh, I loved this. The photo and the question. I think both. The where you've been helps you with where you're going. For me I don't need to dwell on the past as much as respect it and remember it and learn from it. I can take all of that and move forward.
I think I'm thinking way too much these days. ;)

I think what's in between those is what makes the difference...how to use your past experiences to determine where you'll go.

Fabulous photo...I love shadows.

It depends where you focus. Some people have great pasts and will have great futures. Some people overcome their pasts and though it has shaped them it matters less than the future because that is what they decide. Others live in the past which is not so helpful, in my humble opinion. But the bottom line is that NOW is all we truly have, whether we like to think that way or not. :) Happy NOWNESS to you.
