i look in my daughter's eyes.
the eyes of happiness.
the eyes of youth and expectations.
i say
you're so young.
you have your whole life ahead of you.
and these...
these are the best days of your life.

and she smiles.

i look into the eyes of my 87 year old friend.
the eyes of wisdom.
the eyes of a man who has lived a long and happy life.
he says
you're so young.
you have your whole life ahead of you.
these are the best days of your life.

and i smile.

Hear that..is like having a wake up call everyday. I liked the full circle spectrum of it..I guess.

Love the picture too. I went to a craft show a few months a go and someone was selling pictures of ordinary objects that look like letters. I got a "love" picture. Still haven't framed it yet.

Sunny, but oh so cold here in the midwest.

As for "geoff"..he just might be the first to ever question 'stuff' that Dayton would never talk about.

Isn't that the truth? (Even though I would never go back to my teenage days! Wink.) What is that saying about youth being wasted on the young? :)
