i love this field.
it's about a half a mile from my house and when i'm feeling claustrophobic, i go there and walk it.
wide open space.
it makes me breathe easier.
i focus differently when i'm outside and in wide open space.
and yet, there are plenty of times that i don't seem to remember this.
and then i can't figure out why i'm such a crabbyhead and restless.
the geese honk at me trying to help me remember to do this more often.
although they don't particularly like the idea of me traipsing around in their back yard.

I definitely need to go for a walk in a wide open space. I forget this often as well.

I've done one last week. Enjoyed it so much. It'll do a lot of good to yourself. Hope you enjoy your walk.

Can, I borrow that word, "crabbyhead?" Love it. I usually resort to calling someone (or myself) "grumpypants" but I'm liking crabbyhead. By the way, I GOT YOUR DARLING LITTLE GIFT - LOVE IT! It is in my window. I just need to take a picture now. So pretty! And THANK YOU for the chocolates and the little "joyful" surprise too. So wonderful. I think I ate all the chocolates in one sitting - got home late and hadn't had dinner, and well ... you know the rest. THANK YOU! Made my week. I am trying to figure out what I want to give away now!

P.S. I don't know how a comma got inserted after can.... hmm. That looks funny.

And I really like your field. I need to remember that, too. Wide open space makes me so happy.

The geese here protect their turf with amazing amounts of poop- it is very slippery and smells...not great...they also are irracible and likely to charge you and your little dog, too. Our geese do not have a field, they are as cranky as the rest of us in this claustrophobic part of the world. Your geese are generous to share their space with you- I hope you don't eat them.

You know, there is a big open field across the road from my house... I think I breath easier when I'm standing in the middle of it too.

I'm with you on wide open spaces although we don't have a lot of them here. Lots of tree lined spaces, but that's nice too.
and, geese, if they're too close to me kinda scare me. they do that hissing thing that completely freaks me out.
