looking for signs:

it's easy to find signs. they're always telling me what to do and where to go and how fast to do it and the right way to do it and how much i have to pay for it and what i'm going to see and what i'm going to watch and the right way i'm supposed to go and the right house and the right building and the right restaurant.

but when i really need a sign, i can never find it.
like how to parent
and how to maneuver through a sticky situation
and the correct thing to say to someone

where are those signs?
because i'm always looking for them.

Hey, I wish for the same thing too. Surely that will be one wordy and longest sign to be written ever...I guess by the time I finished reading it, my twins will be running wild somewhere.

Yeah, those signs are never there when we really really need them.

I think that "pharmacy" might be an appropriate sign for "how to parent" and "highway 19" the sign for how to get there and "do not enter" the sign for how to get through a sticky situation, or maybe just how to avoid one. Maybe you just need some help interpreting the signs. ;) I find the correct thing to say to someone is always "stop" or "high winds ahead" or "left lane merges" or "slow for wildlife." Can't hurt, right, you might just get a raised eyebrow in response, to which you can just say "u-turns permitted" or "traffic fines double in this construction zone."
