- hi! i'm dawn. depending on who you ask, i'm not really old yet. but it's safe to say that i'm definitely getting older hence the nane of my blog. i have a sweet husband who i lovingly call "mr. nobody tells me what to do" or mr. ntm for short. he refers to himself as an ego-maniac with an inferiority conplex. i love him. i have a daughter who i call the peanut butter kid or p.b. kid. she eats a lot of peanut butter. she is my joy. and i have many wonderful friends. i am very lucky . i've had a relationship with art my whole life. but here's the truth....i've never been able to actually figure out what my relationship with art really is. . and so, i've started this place to try and figure it out . being a social worker, an artist plus being older, i take things in. now i'm trying to learn how to put it back out and do it just for the sheer joy of it. thanks for stopping in.

I have to admit, that this year seeing the flag flying felt different to me - I think because of Obama - lots of work ahead, but the flag definitely represented more peace and positivity.
