self portrait tuesday

october's challenge is mirrors

it's like looking in a mirror.
and not only that, but even just walking into my daughter's room teleports me right back to the 1970's... the clothes all over the place but mostly on the floor, chocolate scented candles, peace signs, headbands and hair stuff, scads of makeup and paper lanterns hanging from the ceiling.

without even realizing it, she is reflecting back my teenaged years to me.

I LOVE this! I was trying to think of a way to do this with my own daughter, but she's only 6 and in a stage where mommy isn't allowed to take her picture. I love the looks you both have on your faces...you're both beautiful!

Rock on with your youthful looks, I really thought it was a mirror image.

My favorite. This is brilliant. truly.

Awesome interpretation of the theme! I considered trying to do the whole month without me actually being reflected by a mirror in any of my submissions, but then I decided it'd be too hard. You did great with this one, though!

Look out--she's a doppelganger I tell you! And for the longest time when she was little you thought she was the spittin' image of Mr. NTM!
