line up in their yards
to comment on my passing by
they run from one end of their fenced existence
to the other.

I've been encountering a lot of dogs here in Naknek. None with collars. All pretty friendly looking, though some sneak up on you when you're walking by, which has freaked me out more than once. (Because most dogs here are BIG).
But I met a darling little one yesterday - Polka. So cute. I want that name for a future dog I might own.
