the first day being on a boat and looking out at the brilliant sunlit sea before me....watching for mermaids. feeling the shine both inside and out.
i just joined an artist's community called self portrait challenge and i am so excited about it. every month a challenge is issued to create a self portrait that embodies a different idea. this month's challenge is "shine".

i didn't have anything but burt's on my lips because they were CHAPPED! hahaha! a little hazard to being in the shine! haha
