help please

i seem to have misplaced my sense of humor.
have you seen it anywhere?
i can't remember the last time i saw it.
but if you may have borrowed it
please return it.
i am in desperate need of it.

some other things i have lost and wish i could find again:

1. reasons why i should eat right and exercise
2. my youth
3. a positive outlook on life
4. confidence in my abilities
5. compassion for bad drivers
6. stable hormone levels
7. sleep
8. my memory
9. good eyesight
10. the cap from the toothpaste tube

you can see that i'm really in a difficult spot.
so please, let me know if you've seen that sense of humor.

today i smile

by god, i'm going to smile if it kills me.
even though it's monday.
and this morning when i woke up, i was greeted by 5 inches of snow outside.
which is not so good for all these beautiful blossoming trees and bushes we have.
but we got that winter weather over with and now i don't think we'll have anymore.
it will be daylight savings time this coming weekend.
and longer daylight hours
is another good reason, to smile.
whatever is in your day today,
i hope you're smiling too.

why do we have to have them anyway?
all they ever do is measure time.

a cold and rainy weekend.... the perfect time to detox from all the turkey and make some christmas ornaments to give to friends this year.




these were just painted red and then painted again with glitter paint for some shine. i laced them with silver threading and a snowflake charm at the top and stuck a small white map tack into the bottom to add a little something to the bottom as well. the words were done in different alphabet stickers.
simple and fun.
now go make some too....

this little wasp found the most perfect place to take a nap. wouldn't you just love to curl up in a flower and take a little snooze in the afternoon sun?
